The Big Tribute Festival Returns
The highlight of the late summer calendar is back. The Big Tribute Festival takes over Lovesgrove, just outside town, from 28–30 August 2026. Three days of the UK's best tribute acts, a second stage of local talent, a Little Rockers' Zone for the kids, and even an on-site ale and cider festival. Weekend tickets include free camping and parking.

Raise a Glass at the Beer & Cider Festival

Hit the Beach

The Aberystwyth seafront itself is a destination. Stroll the full length of the promenade, kick the bar at the northern end (a beloved local tradition), and watch the starlings swirl over the Royal Pier at dusk. On a clear evening, the sunsets over Cardigan Bay are some of the finest in Wales.
The Best Aberystwyth Walks
Fancy stretching your legs? Constitution Hill rises straight from the north end of the promenade. Walk up or take the Victorian cliff railway to the top for sweeping views across the bay. On a clear day, you can see much of the Welsh coastline stretching out below.
For something longer, the Wales Coast Path runs both north and south from the town. The stretch south to Borth is a favourite, with dramatic cliffs and hidden coves along the way. Pack a picnic – or better still, come back to town hungry.
